FRP Manhole Covers

MaxFit™ FRP Manhole Covers: Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers. Generally, FRP manhole covers are manufactured through a specialized compression molding machine where the raw materials are placed into a molding cavity, then compressed and molded at a certain pressure and temperature, the final outcome would be called a FRP manhole cover. Post-production, load testing will be performed to determine the permanent deformation in the cover after multiple loadings apply on the on the product within a short time to confirm the manhole cover loading capacities as per the applicable code and manufacturing procedure.

FRP manhole covers are available in two different shapes, i.e., circular and square, and are available in a number of sizes. These FRP chamber covers are available in four different tonnages, but the most common usage of FRP covers for domestic purposes is 3 T and 5 T, depending on their usage capacities.

Installation Procedure for FRP Manhole covers:

  • Care shall be taken in handling of manhole covers and frames to prevent damage of edges and corners.
  • Provide complete civil support for correct installation of frame as frame is not load bearing part.

Features

  • Anti corrosion, dust and waterproof.
  • High impact resistance.
  • Non-electricity conduction and non-heat conduction, UV resistance.
  • Prevent poisonous gases to leaking out from the chamber due to well sealed.
  • Does not rust due to chemical, sewage and rain water.
  • Higher and lower temperature tolerance.
  • 30 years service life.
